The SBSJ Senior Outreach Ministry is designed to engage, enlighten and entertain seniors through luncheon gatherings and other activities. The group consists of members of both St. Brigid and St. James.

Quarterly Pot-Luck Luncheon Events
The group meets 4-5 times a year for a pot-luck luncheon and short program at 12:30 PM in Goetz Center at St. Brigid. The parishes provide the main dish, and we ask that you bring a side dish or dessert to share. After sharing our meal, we enjoy a short program of interest usually centering on a holiday or season of the year.
In 2023 we hosted an Ice Cream Social, Oktoberfest - Germans in Louisville event, and Christmas Luncheon on December 7th, 2023. For 2024, we held a St. Patrick's Day Event featured special guest Rick DeLuca from WDRB, summer 4th of July event with the Sneakin' Deacon, and a Fall themed event with delicious food and desserts.

February 11, 2025 - Valentine's Day with a performance on the Underground Railroad with featured performer in period costume, Delia Webster.
