St. James School has been a mainstay in the Louisville Highlands neighborhood since 1906, educating thousands of upstanding citizens in our community, grounded by their Catholic upbringing.  We are committed to carrying this tradition forward—especially for children in areas where Catholic schools are scarce.

To ensure access to a faith‑based education, St. James provides FREE bus service to families in the West End of Louisville and the Taylor Boulevard area. This vital service opens the door to 20+ children to benefit from the foundation of God’s love and a Catholic education.

State subsidies cover only a portion of transportation costs.  The additional funding we had to cover the remaining expense has run out.  We are committed to offering this service to give children in those areas an opportunity to receive the foundation in their lives that God's love and a catholic education can provide. We would not be able to provide this service without the support of donors like YOU! Together we can keep this tradition alive!
